Naming Rights Granted for Concourses & Track

At their regular board meeting on Monday, June 17, 2013, the Ravenna Board of Education announced that the naming rights of the Portage Community Bank Stadium Concourses and Track were granted to two local businesses. Each pledged $50,000 toward the Stadium Renovation Project. Guido's Pizza & Catering Inc. received the naming rights to the concourses and McDonald's received the naming rights to the track. The Ravenna School District is grateful to Guido's and McDonald's for their financial support.





Stadium Scoreboard and Driveway Named

The Ravenna Board of Education announced at their regular board meeting on Monday, May 20, 2013, that the naming rights of the Portage Community Bank Stadium Scoreboard and driveway were granted. Allen Aircraft Products, Inc. was granted naming rights to the stadium scoreboard for their pledge toward the Stadium Renovation Project of $125, 000 and the Record Courier was granted naming rights to the stadium driveway for their pledge of $50,000 toward this project. The Ravenna School District appreciates these companies for their financial support.

Stadium Press Box Naming Rights Granted

The Ravenna Board of Education announced at their regular board meeting on Monday, April 22, 2013, that Haasz Automall was granted naming rights of the Portage Community Bank Stadium Press Box. The naming rights were granted as a result of Haasz pledging $125,000 toward the Ravenna Stadium Renovation Project. Ten annual payments of $12,500 will be made to the district totaling $125,000. The Ravenna Board of Education is grateful to Haasz Automall for their financial support of the school district.


Stadium Naming Rights Granted

The Ravenna Board of Education announced at their regular board meeting on Monday, March 18, 2013, that Portage Community Bank was granted naming rights of the Ravenna Highs School Stadium. The naming rights were granted as a result of Portage Community Bank pledging $250,000 toward the Ravenna Stadium Renovation Project. Ten annual payments of $25,000 will be made to the district totaling $250,000. The Ravenna Board of Education wishes to thank Portage Community Bank for their financial support of the school district.


Stadium Construction Update

Lots and lots of changes are taking place at the Ravenna Stadium complex and on the tennis courts! This project is drawing to a close and student athletes will soon be playing on the new surfaces!

Demolition Begins on Former Ravenna High Site

RAVENNA, Ohio - October 16, 2012 - Initial work started on the former Ravenna High School site, located at the corner of East Main and Clinton Streets, to clear and prepare the site for future residential and commercial development. RAVENNA, November 21, 2011 - Leaders of the Ravenna School District and Portage County Port Authority on Monday announced plans for the site of the former Ravenna High School. The soon-to-be renovated site, located at the corner of East Main and Clinton streets, is expected to become a mixed-use development that will include new residential and commercial opportunities in the heart of Ravenna.
