December 2011

December 2, 2011
Hello Ravenna Staff: Welcome to a well deserved weekend break! Sometimes as it seems as though the shorter weeks are actually longer! Now that the dust is cleared from the “election season” and the Thanksgiving holiday is behind us, it is time to “gear up” and finish strong before Christmas break. As we celebrate the season this month, let us stay focused on our priorities and work at hand and remain good models for our students. They will feed off of our example as we prioritize and stay focused on our work for the remaining weeks. I am looking forward to being in the buildings and classrooms the next several weeks and enjoying the spirit of education and youth. I hope that everyone has a restful weekend!

Happy Friday Ravenna Staff: I hope this message finds everyone ready to have a productive or restful weekend. I came across this old Chinese proverb and wanted share it with the staff. I believe that this applies not only to the season but perhaps in all of what we do. This may help us each to reflect as we continue to move through a period of change throughout the world and especially in our Ravenna school community. Enjoy the time with your family and friends!

Fear knocked at the door. Faith answered. No one was there.”
