New School Resource Officer

In January 2022, Ravenna School District welcomed new School Resource Officer (SRO) Steve Lincoln, who is a City of Ravenna Police Officer. 

Prior to accepting the SRO position, Lincoln spent 10 years in the  Portage County Drug Task Force. 

He has also worked at the Village of Garrettsville Police Department, as well as the Portage County Sheriff’s Office where he worked in the jail as a Corrections Officer.  Lincoln started his career in law enforcement in 2010 after graduating from the Kent State University Police Academy. 

As the SRO, Lincoln will work to keep the Ravenna School District a safe learning environment for students and staff.
