Brown Middle School Academic Programs

Fifth Grade

In fifth grade, the students will take Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The students will also take one period of specials which may include a 9 weeks of Physical Education, Health, STEM Science, Art, Creative Expressions, or General Music. Students who are in Band will receive no other electives.

Sixth Grade

In sixth grade, the students will take Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The students will also take one period of specials which may include a 9 weeks of Physical Education, Health, STEM Science, Art, or General Music. Students who are in Band or Choir will receive no other electives.

Seventh Grade

In seventh grade, the students will take Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The students will also take one period of specials which may include a 9 weeks of Physical Education, Health, STEM Math, Art, College and Career Readiness, or General Music. Students who are in Band or Choir will receive no other electives.

Eighth Grade

In eighth grade, the students will take Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
