Welcome to Willyard Elementary!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website for news and updates. My name is Dr. Flowers, and I am excited to serve as the principal of Willyard Elementary. This is my first year in this role, and it has been a joy getting to know our students, staff, and families as we continue to grow together.

At Willyard Elementary, we are committed to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and helping students behave The Raven Way—being respectful, responsible, and in control. Academically, we focus on high-quality instruction through CKLA for English Language Arts and Illustrative Mathematics, which we began implementing this year.

We believe strong partnerships with families are essential to student success and value open communication and collaboration. Guided by our mission, “Supporting growth and building strong starts—one child, one day at a time,” we work each day to support every child’s academic, social, and emotional development.

I encourage you to join our PTO, volunteer in our classrooms, and attend the after-school events we host throughout the school year. Parental support is one of the most influential factors in a child’s education. If you have questions about these opportunities or would like to support our school in any way, please do not hesitate to contact me.
