Building Libraries
The collections in our school libraries reflect the curricular needs of our students and staff. Our collections are indexed in an online catalog, which you can access from the Library Menu for each school on this web site. In addition, we have the State of Ohio provided online databases (INFOhio). Our libraries are staffed by library educational assistants, and one professional Library Media Specialist who is a teacher with teaching certification and a masters degree in library and informational science. The educational assistant is responsible for maintaining the library collection and circulating materials to students and staff. The Library Media Specialist selects materials for the middle school and high school and works with the elementary staffs in choosing quality literature. The Library Media Specialist works with students and staff in teaching and learning informational literacy skills.
