Employment Policies
Prior to being employed by the Ravenna School District, individuals must submit an application and credentials through the on-line AppliTrack system.
Credentials required by group include:
Teachers and Other Professionals
- Application Form
- Current Resume
- Criminal Background Checks, both FBI and BCII
- Copies of Current Certification/Licensure Areas
- Transcripts of all college coursework
Educational Assistants
- Application Form
- Criminal Background Checks, both FBI and BCII
- High school diploma or GED
- Documentation of successful completion of a two- or four-year degree program (transcript) or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment to meet the highly qualified standards set by federal legislation-NCLB
Bus Drivers
- Application Form
- Criminal background checks, both FBI and BCII
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with S endorsement for transporting children (RSD transportation employees will train you for this credential). Contact the Coordinator of Transportation at 330-296-6828.
- Clean driving record
- Drug testing
Secretaries
- Application form

- Completion of district-administered skills assessment
