Academic and Career Accomplishments

A. Roger Tsai graduated with honors from Ravenna High School in 1970. Anyone who knew him predicted he would be successful in whatever endeavors he chose to pursue. Following graduation from Colgate University in 1974, Roger chose medicine as his life’s work. He completed his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in 1977. Since then Dr. Tsai has taken much graduate medical training, specializing in Cardiology. He has practiced at St. Thomas Medical Center, Akron City Hospital and is now Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. Since 1980, Dr. Tsai has taught his specialty to many physicians and has made numerous presentations at clinical conferences throughout the nation. He has also contributed research articles to prestigious medical journals. His other research interests include laser applications to coronary artery disease and Nuclear Cardiology. Throughout all of his distinguished accomplishments, Dr. A. Roger Tsai has remained a modest and talented physician. This “Doctor of the Heart” could have practiced his talents in Cardiology anywhere in the world but his “heart for his hometown” led him to practice medicine in Ravenna, Ohio. We couldn’t be prouder!
