Sandra Liddell-Oppong

Academic and Career Accomplishments

Sandra Colleen Liddell graduated from Ravenna High School in 1969. While in high school, she was enrolled in the college preparatory program. She was a member of the Spanish Club and received the Spanish award in her senior year. Sandra attended Kent State University from 1969-1973. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Spanish in 1973. Sandra entered the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration in 1974 where she earned her Masters of Arts Degree. Sandra is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers and is a Certified Senior Addictions Counselor. She has extensive work experience in the field of substance abuse counseling. She has provided direct service, supervisory services, and administrative services. Sandra also has experience in child welfare and juvenile justice. Sandra is currently an instructor at St. Augustine College in Chicago where she teaches a substance abuse course.
