Stan Trivelli

Athletic Accomplishments

Stan Trivelli was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Trivelli. He graduated from Ravenna High School. He was the all-time leading scorer in basketball with 1,163 points. He still holds the single season and career scoring record in basketball (40 years) He achieved All Metro First Team in 1974 and 1975. He was All District in 1975. In 1975 he was named all North Eastern Ohio second team. He also was a catcher for the Ravens Metro League Championship baseball team in 1973.

Stan played for the Edinboro State College basketball team in the 1975-76 seasons. He then played at Kent State University as a walk-on in 1977. In 1981 he became a graduate of KSU in Education.

Stan taught at Prospect Elementary in Elyria for 33 years. His 5th grade science class set OAA District testing records in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Stan worked with the late Norma Fitzwater, who was a pioneer in the treatment of alcohol and drug addiction.

Stan has been married to his wife, Lynne for 34 years. He is the father of Joey and Tracy.

He has a son-in-law, Eric and a beautiful new grandson, Lucas.
