Athletic Accomplishments

Stephanie Fosnight Moskal is an Honors Diploma graduate of Ravenna High School, graduating 4th in her class in 2003. Stephanie was a four year varsity letter winner for the RHS Girls’ Tennis team. Her 87 match wins set a school record in 2002. As a senior, she was selected as the Western Reserve Conference MVP (South Division). She was a three time WRC Female Player of the Year and her teammates/coaches voted her “Captain” and “Most Valuable Player” her senior year. Stephanie was also a City Park tennis camp assistant and a volunteer student tennis coach. Stephanie was granted the OHSAA Female Academic Sports Award, the RHS Wendy’s Heisman·Sport’s Female Athlete Honoree and the Ohio Tennis Coaches Association “Golden Racquet” Award. She qualified for the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division I State Singles’ Championships twice, becoming the first female tennis player in RHS history to qualify.

Stephanie entered the United States Tennis Association (USTA) tournament and by age 18, she ranked in the “Top 30” for female players in a five-state area. She received the USTA Gullikson Foundation Scholarship, an honor recognized in the USTA Midwest Hall of Fame and won several Portage County Open Tennis Tournament events, competing in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. In 2003, Stephanie signed a.NCAA Division I national letter of intent for an athletic/academic scholarship at Saint Bonaventure University. She was the first female RHS tennis player to receive and fulfill four years of competition on a NCAA Division I athletic scholarship. While at Saint Bonaventure, she was a member of Phi Eta Sigma, Pi Sigma Epsilon and the American Advertising Federation. She graduated Magma Cum Laude in 2008, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Marketing) and a Master of Business Administration degree (Marketing/Management). Stephanie recently netted an impressive 5.5 national tennis rating by the United States Tennis Association in 2012.

Stephanie is the daughter of Dave and Janet Fosnight and sister to Jeff and Cory. She is married to Todd Moskal, son of Steve and Linda Moskal. Stephanie and Todd’s first child, Quinton Alexander Moskal, was born on July 17·, 2013, weighing 5lbs. 1.5oz. and measuring 20.5 inches long. Stephanie played tennis through her 30th week of pregnancy. Maybe someday this little one will be holding a racquet on the tennis court!
