The highlight of Steven’s high school wrestling career was winning the Division II state title at 112 pounds. He was named to the Ohio All-Star wrestling team that competed in Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand. Steven graduated from RHS in 1994. He then earned a scholarship and wrestled at Kent State University. He was the team captain, three-year letter winner and earned the Merle E. Wagner Award.
