A 1969 graduate of Ravenn High School, Susan went on to graduate with Cum Laude honors at Kent State University in 1973. Susan was Miss Ohio 1976 and third runner-up to Miss America 1976. Following her Miss Ohio and Miss America experiences, Susan won the Corbett Scholarship at the University of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in 1977. After working on her Master’s Degree, Susan continued her classical operatic training at opera houses in Kassel, Austria and Munich, Germany. Her European opera performances were followed by musical roles on Broadway. Susan also toured with Fred Waring. Currently, she is performing in the world premiere of “Holy Blood and Crescent Moon”. The twelve year old girl who wrote in her diary, “I want to be a singer and a dancer and an actress”…has grown up to find her dreams come true.
