Principal’s Message

Dear Brown Middle School Families,

I am proud and honored to be the new principal of Brown Middle School.  Prior to being the principal at West Main Elementary I was the assistant principal at BMS for four years.  The building holds a special place in my heart.  I am very excited to work with staff and students I already know and have built great relationships with.

Over the past several years, the staff at BMS has implemented many programs to ensure students excel both academically and emotionally.  I intend to continue these programs and implement others in order to help our students grow as students and people.  I will honor the work that has been done by the staff over the past several years while also bringing ideas and systems I’ve found to work in my time at West Main. 

This is a very exciting opportunity for me.  I look forward to working with these students again and seeing how much they’ve grown since elementary school.  I will continue to lead them in being respectful, responsible and in control.  The BMS staff and I will continue to create a school climate and culture where each and every student feels welcomed and safe and has the opportunity to learn, grow and succeed. 

I consider it a privilege to have the opportunity to serve as principal, and I thank you for your support and encouragement in my new position.
