Naviance

• • Naviance is a college and career readiness platform that helps students connect academic achievement to post- secondary goals and success.

• • All RHS students have access to Naviance in order to explore future college and career options, request letters of recommendations, sign up for College Rep Visits at RHS, send high school transcripts to colleges, and much more.

Employment

• • RHS’s work program allows seniors who have a job leave early in order to work.  Students need to obtain their career of choice and complete the necessary paperwork by August 1st.

Enlistment

• • RHS has various branches of military visit during lunch periods.  If you are interested in a specific branch or have questions, please contact the Counseling Office.

  • College Visits
    • Students may request an excuse from school for the purpose of visiting and evaluating a college or university two (2) times during the school year and must do the following:
      • Obtain the request form from the attendance office.
      • Have a parent/guardian sign the permission form.
      • Have the attendance office verify the absence.
      • Obtain a college counselor’s signature. The student must return the permission form to the attendance office upon return to school.
  • College Rep Visits
    • Many colleges visit RHS throughout the school year.  Juniors and Seniors are invited to their presentations.  See Naviance to sign up.
  • Scholarships
    • RHS has many local scholarships each year for seniors to apply to.  See spreadsheet below.

  • Requesting Transcripts
    • All high school transcripts can be requested in Naviance to send to colleges after the college application is submitted.
